Is the profile picture generator free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no sign-up, no account, no watermark and no limit on how many
pictures you download.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The background removal and every effect run inside your own web browser. Your photo is never
sent to this website or to any third party, so nothing is stored or seen by anyone else.
How many profile pictures do I get?
Eighty. There are 10 style categories with 8 variations in each, and all of them are generated
from the single photo you upload.
What sizes and file formats can I download?
You can download PNG or JPG at 400x400, 512x512 or 1024x1024 pixels. There are also two banner
sizes: 1500x500 for an X header and 1584x396 for a LinkedIn cover.
Can I get a transparent background?
Yes. Choose "None" under Background and download as PNG, which keeps the transparency. JPG cannot
store transparency, so a JPG will have a white background instead.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It runs in any modern mobile browser. The first time you use it, a small one-off download
prepares the background-removal engine, and after that it is cached.
Can I use the pictures commercially?
Yes. The pictures are made from your own photo, so they are yours to use anywhere: LinkedIn,
Instagram, X, a company website or a business profile.
Why does my first visit take a few seconds?
The tool downloads a small AI model once so it can cut out backgrounds without a server. Your
browser caches it, so every visit after that is immediate.
About this project
This profile picture generator is one of the AI experiments built by
Mikdam Qandil, a Senior UX/UI and Product Designer based in
Amman, Jordan, and an Arabic UX expert specializing in RTL and bilingual product design.
It was built to show how far a genuinely useful product can go while running entirely in
the browser: the background removal, every style and every export happen on your own
device, with no server, no account and no upload.
